Wedding & Commercial Photography Pricing — Bridgend & South Wales
Wedding and commercial pricing for couples and businesses in Bridgend, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and across South Wales. Everything below is a starting point — I’ll send a tailored guide once I know your date or brief.
Wedding photo & film packages.
from £450
Full-day documentary photography, ~600 edited images, private online gallery with print rights, USB on request. Travel inside South Wales included.
from £650
Full-day documentary film, 4–6 minute highlight cut from real audio, ceremony + speeches edits available, delivered in 4K.
from £2250
Both photo and film coverage by a small, calm team. The package most South Wales couples book — and the best value.
Commercial day rates.
Most commercial work is quoted per project once I’ve seen the brief. As a rough guide:
from £300
Up to 4 hours on location across South Wales. Edited selection delivered within a week. Suits product, headshots, small content sets.
from £550
Up to 8 hours on location. Larger edited delivery, usable across web, print and social. Most commercial shoots fit here.
from £600 / mo
Recurring monthly content for South Wales brands — predictable photo and short-form video output for social, ads and the website.
The questions I get asked most.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes — a 25% booking deposit secures your date, with the balance due 4 weeks before the wedding. I keep the diary deliberately small, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.
Do you travel outside Bridgend?
Absolutely — most of my work is across South Wales (Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Vale of Glamorgan) and I’ll happily travel further for the right wedding. Travel beyond 60 miles is charged at 25p/mile.
How long until we get our photos?
Edited galleries are delivered within 6 weeks of your wedding day. I don’t rush them — every image gets individual attention. You’ll get a sneak preview within 48 hours.
Do you shoot with a second photographer?
It’s optional on most packages — having a second shooter means you get two sets of eyes on the day, different angles, and coverage of both getting-ready rooms at the same time. Ask me about adding one.
Can we have the raw files?
No — and here’s why: raw files are like unprocessed film negatives. The edited versions are the finished work. You’ll receive high-resolution edited JPEGs with a personal print licence.
What happens if it rains?
I’ve shot more soggy South Wales weddings than I can count. Rain makes for brilliant images — the light goes soft, puddles become mirrors, and couples stop worrying about their hair. Bring it.
Who owns the copyright?
I do — that’s standard practice for professional photography. You get a personal use licence, which means you can print, share and post as much as you like. You just can’t sell the images commercially.
What’s your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel, the deposit is non-refundable (it covers the date being held and any prep work). If I’m ever unable to shoot your wedding, I’ll refund in full and help find a replacement.
